Abstract
The principles of 3D Imaging techniques, such as3D-PIV (particle image velocimetry), 3D-PTV (particle tracking velocimetry),Tomographic PIV, and Tomographic PTV are introduced. Applications of the abovemeasurement techniques developed by the speaker are introduced.
Quantitative analyses on the flows behind a circularcylinder and a sphere have been made. Measurements with 3D-PTV and 4D-PTV wereperformed for a continuous jet and a pulsed jet.
Further, remote measurements on a solid body wereperformed with laser beams and a high speed camera. The source of thevibrations were recovered by adopting an artificial intelligence (AI).
Improved algorithms for the measurements of thetemperature and concentration fields of hight temperature gas flows with CT-TDLAS(computed tomography, tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy) wereproposed, and their performances were quantitatively validated with actualexperiments.
